Ubuntu - Linux for Human Beings!!

I have installed kubuntu as virtual machine using Vmware. I have become fan of Ubuntu, everything is made so simple, you need not break ur head or waste time in installing basic software.

In the past, in my desltop, I had tried other Linus-OS like Fedora,RedHat, as virtual machine, I faced many problem, most important one was to make ethernet card detect.

Now I installed KUBUNTU in my laptop.

KUbuntu made it simple, it detects each and every attached hardware by itself!!!...Even the hardware partitioninng headache will not be there for begineers ....just install with the help ofGUI feature... hav fun...

More facinating is the "apt-get" feature, you can install any software just using this command. you need not waste time in browsing to find the compatible software. 

Just give the command ...thats it.. its done...

Few of them, i installed are:

# apt-get install xterm

# apt-get install mozilla flashplayer-mozilla acroread-plugin

# apt-get install openoffice.org

Too Lazy to start a post

I have been thinking to start my blog from so many days... but was little lazy to start... now finally decided to start one.....but dont expect i will be writing abt my personal feelings...rather will try to put some junk stuff which i feel to be useful for all...like knowledge sharing sort of thing...

but i am not sure for how long i will continue this.... time brings change in everything....change is inevitable...thats the rule of nature....
